Inspired by the Bronze Age Iberian sculpture "Torso of the Warrior", the wolf design was thought to be an apotropaic element worn by warriors of the Iberian Peninsula on bronze chest plates known as a "kardiophylax”.
Plaque is hand-made from a lightweight, foam-injected concrete mixture.
